I was wondering what ya'll thought of the 20 rep squat versus a 4x5 (or something similar) format. I have only tried the 20 rep squat once and
don't really remember much about it, other than it being awfully brutal of course. What does the 4x5 do the 1x20 does not and vice versa?
Just on the surface of it I would think the 4x5 would allow heavier weight and promote more strength whilst the 1x20 would promote deeper inroads into the
muscle and thus more hypertrophy? Like I said, I have limited experience with the 1x20 but everything I have read says good things about it in the way of
strength and size.
